SANDRA C. GITTLEMAN
As an artist, my goal is to paint beautiful heart-touching paintings that will transform your living or work space.
My primary style is “impressionistic realism,” which paints life through a lens of beauty and grace. I love a palette of rich bold color as much as one of subtleties. Ideas come from both the profound and the mundane. Each process of creativity has a life of its own, and that process is often as important as what is ultimately created.
Native to New England, I was blessed with a large family where innovation and an eclectic of range of talents were nurtured. I am a graduate of Fine Arts at Mount Holyoke College, but an eternal student, always learning. My creativity expands borders, and I enjoy exploring various mediums and spaces.
My wonderful husband, Stuart and I reside in North Carolina. I’m an artist, mother, teacher, space decorator, event planner, writer, and gardener. Each venue produces signature artworks that have their own narrative and visual legacy.
Art is powerful. It has the power to transform a space or touch a heart. Just one piece adds soul to any space and can directly affect people’s moods and emotions. So in selecting art for a room or as a gift, the piece you choose is just as much an expression of who you are as it is of the artist who created it. I appreciate you considering mine.
